All fixed price items in my store are 35% off. Mention the VFG and get free shipping (U.S. only - international, we can work something out!).

I recently bought an estate with a TON of L'Aiglon stuff, and it is all great. I've always loved items from the company - it's well made and chic - but it's not exactly a hot label. Yet....

That's cute!
I live a town over from Westbrook, Maine - there used to be a lot of shoe factories there. I wonder if the jacket has something to do with that!

I received this notice via ebay of a paypal discount code.
It is

I'm not sure if it only works if you've received the notice from eBay, but heck, it can't hurt to try.

Interesting topic!
I remember reading somewhere that a lot of Beatnik women wore dresses from the 20's. Of course I can't remember the source, so can't verify whether or not it's true.
Has anyone else heard/read this?

Funny - I've been having problems with sellathon. I thought I was the only one!
I use "sitereader" for my blog. I might start using that in my auctions.

Carol Brent was a line from Sears. There is a series of books of books put out by Dover Publications titled "Everyday Fashions of the 30's (or 40's, 50's, 60's, etc) from the Sears Catalog." Maybe your dress is in there - I love it when that happens!

Ugh - I first sprained my ankle about 10 years ago - running drunkenly through Seattle in platform shoes. I guess I deserved it.
Since then I've had a couple of mild sprains (from working out - no more drunk sprinting in platforms) and even the mild ones hurt like heck. I can understand why...

Ugh - I can't stand the thought of winter coats right now with this humidity! Plus, the thought of winter makes me very cranky.
That being said, I find that late summer/early fall is good for listing coats.

Wonderful stuff! I am a sucker for sportwear - especially vintage pants outfits - like the beach pajamas. I'll see if I have any photos of some examples.

If you go to your "Your Etsy" page and click on "Esty Mini" on the bottom left side, you can create the HTML for a little Etsy link that you can insert into blogs or other web pages.
I've also started including a link to etsy in my emails to buyers.

You read my mind - I was going to try to find an organic way to kill dandelions!
And a hint about coffee grounds - you can get big bags of used grounds for free from Starbucks.
Thanks for posting this!

This is great Jonathan - I had no idea of the range of paper dresses made during the 60's. And I covet the hostess "kit" with the dress that matches the plates.
I'm drawing a blank for the pink/white striped dress, and am guessing Tetley Tea for the green leaves dress.
