Hi, Amanda, show us the Pendleton label - I'm getting a late 40s vibe. That first dress is gorgeous!! Not sure how to describe that other than cascading chiffon swags?

I can only view about half the pages and then it stops loading, it's very slow going. I'm on a PC with Internet Explorer. But I sent you a U2U, Olive! You have some lovely items!

Lizzie, the strap was missing from my rubber beach cap, but it had some type of button/button hole closure, as I recall. It's long-ago sold. I did not realize it could be as old as 30s, wow! I am pretty sure I listed it as 60's. Oh, well!!

This is fabulous workshop, Lizzie! Thanks SO much!
Here are a few images from my "sold" archives...
An early (1915?) swimsuit that had stockings with it.
An early 20th C. beach hat:
1930s child's beach pajamas
A 50's Jantzen suit
60's red plaid suit with...
Hi, vfg member team needs to be a tag. Also you have to choose vintage as the very first tag.
The only thing that shows up in search is what you put in your title and your tags, not in your description.
I don't think you can list the same item on two sites, Ang got warned about that...
Some of you have already seen my house pics, so I apologize for that.
Here's our den. Rug from eBay, chintz sofa was $75 at a tag sale!
It was a pain in the arse painting the insides of the bookcases but I'm so glad we did, it shows off my Harlequin pottery nicely...
Wow!! Your hair has gotten long! I LOVE the green walls and the cool tiki bar! Fabbo fabric on those seats! You look great.
Did you get those wedges at PayLess? I have the very same ones in brown!? Whoa. Did you and I already have this conversation? I think I'm having deja vu about the wedges...
A serf, LOL! That's a scream! :hysterical:
Congrats on quitting smoking, Jonathan! That's a biggie! (... my last cigarette was Dec. 16, 1998...!)

Wow, I love this thread! So great to see everyone's gardens, and pets - oh my, that baby kitty is a heart slayer! And I keep returning to Lei's horsy in the kitchen, what a hoot! :sunshine:
Lizzie, that is awesome that you do shape note music too! It started in New England in the 1700s but...
When I'm not vintaging, these days I'm usually singing. I'm in a 100 voice chorus called The River Singers (that's me in the back, the tall one just to the right of the big gold cross, LOL!) We are not a church group per se but we perform traditional songs from all cultures of the world...
Question: Is anybody using an Etsy banner or radio button on their eBay Me page or website, to link to your etsy page??
I want to put one up on my Me page but it seems the ones etsy provides all say something like, "etsy, for everything handmade." I want a vintage themed one. I guess I can...
Thanks!!
Mary, it's my own morning glory photo that I took, I'd say about 2 years ago, I use it here and there in my logos.
(Nothing flowering here yet except hyacinth and daffodils!)

OK, I took the plunge. I am a pretty loyal ebayer, but I am very impressed with etsy so far and could use the extra business! I opened my store there and did my first 3 listings today. And it was easy-peasy! No html needed, no photo compressing or photo storage elsewhere, either. Choosing 5...
I'll be listing a very cool custom-made 1960s python purse with matching pumps soon... so stay tuned!
In the meantime, I have these:
50's Red Deco Purse
Red White and Blue 70's Purse for Independance Day!
1920s Olive Green Irish Crochet Reticule...
This is going to be a really good auction. Karen says there are 20,000 things to sell in the discovery sale Fri afternoon, alone. She called to ask me if I was going but I just can't this time, it's too far away and with the B&B overnight expenses and the price of gas, I won't have the...
Chiming in a little late here, Baronofpop, but I love my eBay store and I depend on it for my survival. On average, I usually sell around 70-90 items a month from my store-format sales. (It's slow though, right now.) For me this winds up being around 65-70% of all my online sales. So, for the...
