i haven't really had a chance to look threw them all yet. And soak in the coolness of them ;)
But I will pick out a few and scan them soon.
I PROMISE!!!!!!!!
It's so funny. And this is going to sound so unbelievable, but it's true... The night before I found these I was sorting threw a lot of old photos I have been collecting. I have about 25 photos of glam gals from the 40's and 50's that I keep in a funky box. Anyhow, I said to myself, wow, all...
Nylon lingerie that doesn't have lots of lace or dohickeys, I wash in the machine in a Martha stewart -delicate- wash bag.
They have always turned out great. Anything to reduce handwashing time I'm all for.
I am so excited, I found my holy grail this morning....
over 100, real photos of 1940s pin up girls and risque model shots. They are in this plain little Kodak file
I opened it up and said, NO WAY:o I'll take these!!
They are all in an individual sleeve and look as if they have never...
A urine stain should come out with a good washing--which makes me think your stain may be something else-----But I would try using tide and rubbing it right on the stain. Then soak it in cold water for about an hour---swishing it around every 15 minutes or so. Then wash, again using Tide or...

Linda that is the site I can reach but no labels are there.
Chris will that part be finished when the whole upgrade is done in a few days? Or will that be longer? Thanks.
Where did it go? I am sure I am blind as a bat but I can not find the lingerie resource. When I click on resources, I see where it says, lingerie resource, I click on that and it has a page of lingerie terms. Where did the lingerie labels go? I need Gossard help :)
That fabric is beautiful!
Check out the fortuny website. They discuss fortuny fabrics, even the fabrics that are still being made today. There is also an email where you can contact someone to discuss fabrics further

Or....this is a little different....What if you sewed ribbons or fabric inside the bag....maybe 2 strips on each side. Then they could be tied in a bow to hold the bag loosely closed.
For a fastening, what if you did a U shape loop on one side--sewn into the seam and on the other side a cord with a knot on the end...you could even put a large bead on the end....the U shape loop will stay closed by the large knot or bead.....hope that makes sense :)
