Hi Louise!
You should look up the ebay seller that goes by the username below
sheilajuno
she is in the UK and has very beautiful vintage buttons in her ebay store- and they are reasonably priced too ;)
cheers Gayle x
Thanks Nicole!
I tried and tried with the seller but they would not admit their was anything wrong with it- my lesson here is to ask more questions, especially if any industrial sewing machine has a new or re-conditioned engine- or at least not the original one! .
The power plug was dangerous...
re overlocker threading nightmare
Thanks Nicole and beach-Bygones!
Thansk for the advice, yes I ended up paying for a mechanic to service it and thread it in the end- and would never have unthreaded it again EVER! BUT- there is a sad end to this story-After using the machine the first time for...
Thanks so much everyone for the advice! The Etsy idea is great, so I will give that a go! I have never been defeated by a threading diagram before, I am determined to win this one , best wishes, Gayle x ;)
Hi! I am hoping someone can help me out in the USA from down here in Australia. I have bought a second hand 5 Thread Union Special industrial overlocker model number PL 654/Class 39600 (504 stitch). It's at least 30 years old and an American model from what I can gather, and came with the...
Wow Leisa, as someone from outside of the USA -I have to ask what is the too cute little critter with the dog in your photo? is it a baby squirell or a hamster? cheers and Merry Xmas, Gayle x

Gosh Nicole, you would think that one brand you could trust would be Pears! It's really end of an era stuff isn't it! Why would you stuff with a formula that has worked for so long??? Madness! I bet they are outsourcing and making it somewhere cheaper- and yep Neutragena may be worth looking...
40: The support and friendship, when sometimes selling vintage on-line can be like being trapped on a remote island where all you have got is piles of old clothing a tape measure, camera and a computer, really lonely with no one to talk to about your latest finds. I would go completely nuts...
Wow that look awesome! I would LOVE that! Like Nicole said- damn the tyranny of distance! Maybe someone in Australia should have a Victory in the Pacific night- and Nicole and I could outift it !!!years back I worked on the VIP 50th anniversary and it was loads of fun to make and source all the...
Thanks Everyone! and congrats to Kim and Sarah too! I am very thrilled to be a featured member this week and thanks again Linda and the Guild! I really do have a thing for bullet bra's and can't stop myself collecting them! so I am very pleased that one is on proud display here. Much cheer and...
Seems Tallulah has lots of competition in the cutest cats stakes! Linda, you ask what type of cat she is- well we rescued her from the animal shelter when she was just 6 weeks old, and she is a bit of everything, but I am pretty sure her mother must have been a persian- as she gets fluffier...
Hello, while we are talking cats, I thought I would show you a picture of my Tallulah, who developed a fixation for my wheelchair, which until recently I was using after a car accident! I had to fight her for it most of the time, Now it's all hers! ;)
