Your coat...
These dresses are often hard to date. That said...it looks 60s by style.
As for rarity, no, not really rare as a brand, but there are some really lovely examples out there.
Yours looks quite elegant.
How does it close up? Does it have a metal or nylon zipper?
First of all, it is bad form to ask for help on one hand and criticize with the other.
There is nothing wrong with this site. I suggest you learn how to re-size your photos.
Its hard to say about the date as you cant really see the overall shape in the photo very well. I am thinking maybe a bit later 60s.
I am not familiar with the label. It looks like a nice set though.
It is difficult to see the shape of the sleeves in your photos. But by your description, I'm thinking bishop sleeves

The dress looks...
Getting this rayon crepe wet would probably ruin it due to shrinkage.
But I have dyed items with rhinestones before with no problem. I would certainly test a small area first though.
I cant tell if it is gabardine from the pic but check out the VFG fabric resource

You will use it often!
I have seen XL sizing in shirts from the 40s
This Pendleton does not have the wool mark, that I can see anyway, so I think it is earlier. Early 60 maybe?
From the label resource

The label looks similar to the one on the VFG Label Resource for a pair of 60s shorts

I could see 60s
I suspect this gown is probably after the Formfit Rogers association was over. I dont know the year but Formfit was acquired by Jockey at some point.
If I had to guess, I would say 70s on your gown.
The fur really doesn't look much like mink to me, but I am far from an expert. Is it super soft?
Sorry no help with the date at all.
