I have a couple similar but not nearly as old. I would say 40s on yours. I don't think of them as bed jackets, though. I think they wore them with lounging pajama pants..you know the ones with the wide legs? Most all of them I have seen are quilted like yours.
Yes, a picture would be helpful. I have my sewing book out now. It covers sew-through buttons, shank buttons, reinforced buttons, link buttons, covered buttons and jeweled buttons. There is also a Chinese ball button.

Paul, my thought exactly. I use a card index file all the time. Photo something, take measurements and you can file them in so many ways....evening gowns, day dresses, by measurements, etc.
What do you think about these vintage patterns and also what is a good price to start them at?
