    Any Taxco Experts out there?

This pin was given to me as a child, so it's about 60 - 65 years old ... and I have never worn it ... time to move it along. Is the 208 referring to the silver content? Does the "signature" ring any bells?

    30s or 40s?

Yes, I'd like to see a close-up of whatever is going on with the embroidery on the red material. Does it have shoulder pads? Is it lined? With?

Does anyone know the brand "Natlynn"?

Hi Vic. I looked up this label in 'Newspaper Archives' and all the ads are from the 1950s. Many of their ads say the dresses are "inspired" by either current movie stars or movies of that time. For example, from one ad with drawings of the garments - Bravo to Natlynn Jrs, for these inspired...

    Name for this fabric treatment?

It's probably really obvious, but I'm only coming up with boucle ... insets ... decorations.... ?? The dress is a satin brocade and the design is poppies, which is pretty neat.

    "Iconic" sweaters from the 1940s!

Does this help? The horse is bucking - practically doing a hand stand (hoof stand?) with its tail in the air near the rim of the hat's silhouette. The hat is more of the classic 1920's style with the high crown. The boy has something around his neck which is in the photo as well.

pics from is this a real dior jacke tposted earlier

Hi. Does it say 'Paris'? Is it made in France? Or is there a 'made in USA/dry clean only' tag? Is it numbered? I googled "How to spot a fake Dior" and got lots of sites to authenticate bags and sunglasses, but not clothing. Hard to tell what that is - a long sleeveless fleecy vest ?
