Oh wow that's a beauty! Love the detailing on the front.
I'm still seeing 50s but someone here might be able to give you a more specific date.
Thanks for posting the photos!
With the metal zipper, I think it could be 50s but I'd LOVE to see the photo of the entire piece - for the eye candy and because it will help date it more decisively.
Oh wow - so pretty! I agree with MJ. I love the jacquard pattern of the robe.
And if that's you in the avatar then lucky you to have found such a lovely Gunne Sax (or Gunne Sax style) dress!
Wow - I love the fancy peplum!
Have you checked on the underside of the selvage of the seams in the skirt? Sometimes the label is hidden in there. I love finding those!
With that unusual shape you'd think you could track it down. No matter what, it's a great piece and I hope you get some answers.
PS. Your wallpaper! "smilielove:
These are great. I agree with Ruth that the second one looks like a women's sweater.
You might be able to date the first one by the zipper, using this guide

What a beauty! I would call it a cocktail dress too.
And echoing everything that Ruth said.
If you're not in a hurry to sell it you might want to wait a while, as I'm finding that formal pieces aren't doing as well as they used to.
That is really cool and unusual!
At first I thought could be 60s judging from the style and the lack of a Woolmark label, which they started using in 1971

But then I realized it's not 100% wool. So maybe 70s?
Whatever the age it's...
I remember Aldo in the mall was THE shoe store in the 90s. And like Maggie, I wore shoes similar to them during that time. Another vote for early 90s!
Nice to "see" you again!
I love this color!
I have these two dresses with marigold yellow flowers both listed on Etsy right now (click on the photo to see the listing).

Hello and welcome!
You can use the Union Label to narrow down the dates from 1974 - 1995.

To me, the peach looks late 70s, and the pink looks early 80s. I remember girls wearing dresses like that to our prom in around 1983 or so...
I pick up Lip Service when I see it but haven't come across any recently. And Fleuvog platforms are a rarity here in Maine.
But I love that people are buying this type of clothing again!
