I am wondering what the extra tongue is all about is that a logging thing? I was told it was to protect the boot from the stirrups....but a railroader told me that ...lol
there appears to be some lettering under the turner logo ...I am going to try and get a better shot blow it up and see if I can read it...almost looks like a pat number
Yeah I was thinking seventies for some reason too...seems they have a steel shank too that bulges the sole right in front of the heel....The only reference I could find for turners was and old trade card for Turners Boot and Shoes ...Albany New York...1883
