Mine don't have the whole bottom of the finger in those colors. It's just between the fingers. That's what I think make is so unusual.

Just came across these--unworn. I've never seen anything like them. Do they have a specific name with the colors between the fingers? And are these not the cutest thing you've ever seen? Vintage for little girl (that's why I put the quarter in the picture to show size). And also unworn...

The Sweethome website does really extensive analysis of items they review and they recently did steamers. You should read the article. I just bought the $30-ish one they recommended but I haven't used it yet.

Thanks for the help--I did end up finding a few pairs (not under the keywords I originally looked for) so I am going to list on ebay tonight.

Have a pair of NIB Converses that I suspect are probably early 80s. I haven't been able to find any this style online, and wanted to find out a little more about them before I listed. Anyone know about these or know where to research? Thanks, Sue

The sweater is great! How difficult was it to put in the zipper? I prefer zip up sweaters and had never thought about knitting one.

beebee- Am I imagining it or did the Ladybug shirtwaist dresses come with little stick pins on the collar that were bugs or turtles or frogs? It seems like they did, and if so, I have several of those. I too was one of those wearers of Ladybug and Villager.
