Help me figure out USPS services.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to write a shipping calculator for the mall, and I'm confused about the vast array of services offered by the USPS. Which services do most people use? Here is the list I got for a 5 lb 5 oz item. As you can see, I'm having a hard time narrowing it down because...

    Vintage Menswear Daily...now live!

Hi Jody, I don't have a lot of time at the moment, but blogs usually have that feature built-in. You need to create an XML, ATOM or RSS feed (lots of software have the tools to do this built-in). You may have noticed a lot of little orange icons around the internet? You can subscribe to XML...

What influence do I have here?

Yes, South American - that's a good one. Deb

What influence do I have here?

Ironic - "post time" reminds me of thoroughbred racing, but that horse on the label looks like a pony or donkey, or a smaller breed of horse (such as the appaloosa - they usually have really pathetic manes and tails). Deb

What influence do I have here?

Definitely equestrian! I would say Lizzie's jacket is western - reminded me of Nez Perce (sp?) - the native Americans that bred the appaloosa horse. The stripey wool reminds me of a western saddle blanket. Deb

    Any Vera Collectors?

I had a bunch of Vera scarves - of course the ladybug label. I also liked the florals, they seemed like works of art. I was going to frame them somehow, but just ended up wearing them instead. Deb

I got my wish - it snowed!!

Oh how scenic! So did your little boy make a snowman? They interviewed someone from the UK on the TV news about the snow, and he said it was SO cold, it was "just like the Arctic". It was -2 C (which is just below freezing). It was really funny to us. But then they switched to the Arctic...
