    Again I think this is mink but I don't really know. Once again it's a style I love but I think it's got dry rot which is a total bummer. I'll be taking it apart after I get my mom's furs taken care of to check out the skins. Thanks again for the help!

    Yep, I went totally nuts with this fur thing but I always go nuts around mom's birthday. I think this might be muskrat fur?     Help identifying fur

    Hi everyone. I have 2 fur items I need help identifying.One cape from the 40s and one stole. The cape is extremely soft fur, if you blow on it it will part. The stole is dense but not mink. Any help would be appreciated. Also any tips on repairing splits? Thank you!
