1850s 60s pagoda sleeve bodice with bones & cross shank buttons?!

I have a gorgeous 1850s 60s pagoda sleeve silk bodice and I'm curious if anyone has ever seen shank buttons like this? They have a center inlay of two white bones and a cross - three of the buttons are actually missing the inlay but have the outline. At first I thought they were newer but they have true shank backs and I couldn't find anything in a google image search. Would appreciate any info on these buttons if at all possible.
