1920s flapper dress

I have a dark brown crepe 1920s flapper dress with classic double hem. It has gorgeous big round rhinestone buttons and long lace sleeves. It has no label.
The dress has some issues, but I would like to sell it. I can nicely repair the holes in the lace arms and replace the missing button rhinestones.
I know I can then place it up for sale -- noting the repairs, of course. It is a lovely dress and the crepe is in excellent condition.
My question is--should I make these repairs or should I offer it "as is"? I don't want to disrespect a wonderful vintage garment, but then again, it has no label.
What is your best advice?

BTW--My shop has been open more than a year now and I substantial sales. I can now apply for a VFG membership which pleases me. In my past career, I was very active in professional organizations and I am proud to be able to become a member of yours. Thank you!

If you can do good repairs, and have period correct buttons, I would go ahead and do them. If you are replacing buttons entirely, perhaps keep the originals with the dress and send them along.

Great points by Past Perfect Vintage. The main thing is that you can do a really good job on the repairs. If you feel confident just note and photograph all repairs. I love working with 20s items and often have this dilemma. I'm on the fence with doing the rhinestone repairs, it would just depend on how many are missing. If they are just plain paste stones maybe you can find some old stock. Sounds pretty!
