1920s Molyneux?

I have several questions I'm hoping I can get some help with on this Molyneux gown. First I think this piece is from the 1920s and is a silk velvet with under slip, but was hoping for your opinions as to the date and fabric.

Also there's nothing for sale from this designer on eBay or Etsy, but I have found a few pieces through museum auctions. Was wondering what the best venue would be to sell this piece. Price is also going to be a big question mark. I know we can't discuss here, but maybe some direction to help with pricing would be much appreciated.

Gown slips over head, with snap closure at side. Fabric is in great condition with some wear to velvet and minor tears in slip. :drinking2: Thank You for your thoughts and opinions on this one!

Here's an image of the label you requested Mary Jane. It's sewn into the seam, attached at each corner of the label with thread that is the same color, etc that was used in the gown.

It's earlyish 30s - 1933 perhaps? Hard to be sure without handling it. Molyneux LOVED silk velvet - I have run across several pieces by him in silk velvet. This probably originally had a matching jacket or cape. Funnily enough I have a cape from about 1933 that would have had a matching dress at one time, but its not garnet - its violet.

With 'made in France' on the label, can we assume this was made for export? For one of the American or Canadian high end shops that carried Paris Models?
As to price, I think you may want to continue searching auction results for a bit to see what you can find. Patience will pay off.
