Big turkey, but I was interested in the woman's outfit on the right!

Who she a stylish lady, looks to me like she wearing two tone stocking, apart from the fab coat. I think it the way they are holding the turkey that maks it look odd.

Poor turkey! (I read the commentary, and it appears there were no presidential turkey pardons back in '22, so this one did a second act on the dinner table...)

I agree, Amanda, that outfit is delish. So is seeing the range of hat styles fashionable that year, in pretty rarefied society! Thanks for s haring...

That turkey's still alive Pauline in the photo ! (Believe me, I helped butcher a lot of them for Thanksgiving) and you are right - the way she is holding the bird is what makes the neck look funny.
