That was really fun! I didn't realize that color was available that early - do you think it was "colorized" later?

It could have very well have always been in color.

color film for photography cameras came about 1935, but I think the cost was prohibitive and the quality wasn't consistent. I think color for film was available from almost the beginning. One of the first films was painted by hand, until Pathéchrome came out. Phantom of the Opera in 1925 had a color sequence in it. Obviously it was all a lot shakier and less consistent than now, but they had it. A lot of it was hand rolled (yikes)
