I love the description--so evocative, not like the dry, terse descriptions so popular today. And the dress is pretty divine, too!

Not single...not double...but a triple nun's collar.... That doesn't sound too exciting when you read it, but its kinda cute. They seem to emphasize it so it must have been sought after at the time.
