1930s Wm Filene's label ?

1930s Wm Filene\'s label ?

Can anyone tell me when the "Wm Filene's Sons Co." label switched over to just the "Filene's" name label. I believe it was possibly 1930s. I'm trying to date a hat. Thanks!
 
Have you checked your label against the label resource?. It looks like the date was between the '20s and the '30s but there's no information more exact. The resource has a number of good label designs though, so you might find the one you have.

If that doesn't work, perhaps post a photo of the hat and the label and we can date it from that?
