1940s day dress

I just received this gorgeous little dress, I'd just like to know whether it would be late or early 1940s. It's made of rayon (Yay!) And is a navy blue colour with snaps, hook and eyes and buttons. So it was rather complicated to take on and off!

Hi Rose, is it a wrap dress? Are there any shoulder pads - it looks late '40s to me.

I have a very similar 1940s navy R&K originals dress in wool. Similar turn back cuffs too, but not in white and double breasted button treatment.

Yes it is a wrap dress And it does shoulder pads, very cute little dress!

Oh that's beautiful! Very pretty! And wool would be perfect for winter!
