1940s jacket - questions!

Hi there! I purchased this lovely jacket recently. The shop owner said it was from the late 1940s. I was hoping I could get some advice on this. First, would you agree with that assessment, it's from the 1940s? What vintage dress could I wear with this? A more causal dress or would it need to be something quite fancy? Could I get away with wearing this in 1920s and 1930s attire as well? Any advice would be so appreciated.

It appears to be 1950s, with the bracelet length sleeves.
And, yes! you can wear your lovely jacket with any era.
You could also throw it on with jeans and casual attire.

I agree that it looks like it's '50s - and of course you can wear it with anything.
