1940s Rayon HELP!

So I purchased this little cutie just for the fabric because she is super tiny. I mean Juniors size and I imagine someone washed it because it's teeny. At this point I will only be able to sell for inspiration or fabric but if I can stretch it out a couple inches I'd be sooooo happy.

Has anyone ever stretched out 1940s rayon? Would love some tips.

Is the fabric color fast?

I have tried what Maggie posted above and it worked to an extent. I have also tried stretching and pressing while damp with a pressing cloth in between to get stretch back as much as possible. You have to be very careful when pressing and be sure to use a pressing cloth between. I have not been able to restore the size completely but it's worked a bit.

I have found with steaming that some rayons will react well. You need to be able to pull a bit on the fabric while applying the steam.
Just a couple of months ago I had to work on a crepe dress and I did have to wash it, no choice....It did not come back to its original size but did get larger.
