1950s Abercrombie & Fitch Women's Coat

Hi, All! I'm pretty sure this women's wool houndstooth coat is from the 1950s. Just looking for any backup on that date and any other info anyone can provide about this coat. Thanks!

Does it have a double lining? The font on the wool label looks later than 50's to me. I'm thinking at least 1960's. Have you checked the pockets for any more labels?

The "all wool" label looks more 60s to me. As Melanie stated, you should check the interior pockets if you haven't done so already, there may be a date.

Looks like a man's top coat to me, not a woman's coat. It is very much like several I have owned over the years. Could be early 1960s as already wondered by Melanie.

Agree with Barbara. Buttons on the right means this is a man's coat. Quite dashing!

Oh shoot! I knew that about the buttons and totally missed it. I've been over every square inch of this coat inside and out and, unfortunately, there are no other labels. Oh well. Thanks for all the help, ya'll!
