1950s Adele simpson dress style question

Recently some how miraculously came into this awesome 1950s Adele Simpson dress.

It has a belt with long pieces of fabric 2 to be exact attached on the back..
Fabric matches the dress and belt and is rectangle shaped and 5 inches wide probably 18 inches long

What kind of belt is this ??it looks much like this ad.

What style would I call it? I don't have any pictures taken of my dress yet. I can take a photo of the belt if anyone wants to see. Eventually when I have the dress cleaned and wrinkle free ill post a picture of it bc its too good not to share. Bright floral silk pattern sheath dress

The classic Watteau panel falls from the shoulders - or at least the back of the neckline. They were popular in the late 60s/early 70s for Hawaiian maxi dresses.
I don't know that there is another term for this. I would call it a Watteau-inspired panel or train. And yes, I think it's intended to just.... flow.
