Hello all. Picked up this dress not even knowing what it was until further inspection a day later. It was originally purchased at Margaret's in Lubbock, TX. I've concluded that it is from the 1950s based upon the label guide, but am wanting to find more info if possible. Does anyone know what specific year this could be from? Maybe the name of the line? Value? Any information you might have would be tremendously appreciated! We also have a couple other pieces that came from Margaret's but with no Dior label. Is it possible these are designer pieces too even without designer tags? I will upload pics of them if you wish to see them.

The style is typical of the late 50s - blouson top, big buttons, full skirt. It's not couture, so there is no name for the line. CDNY was a manufactured line that was designed in Paris but made in the U.S. from about 1951 to 1961 (after 1961 it was also designed in NY). Can't help with values hecause we don't do that here, but also because its a volatile market and CDNY is priced all over the place.
