Looking at the VFG label resource is this 1950s?

Could not find one item on the forum from this label.

Wondering also if the long tie would be used perhaps for a circle skirt at the time or perhaps with cigarette pants? Help please.

Thank you. Sandy

it's lovely! great colors, beautiful tailoring. not 50s. the size and dco tags say later. not enough information for me to say if it's 60s or 70s.

what are the bust and shoulder measurements? that'll help.

Hard to see the labels on the VFG label thing. Has slight shoulder pads? The script looks like the 1950s one.
The B is sort of block like? the curve of last letter L also goes down like that one?

Laid flat across shoulders back is 16.0 inches.

19.0 Bust.

I see an identical one on Pinterest as 1960s from 3 yrs. ago.

Thank you.

i agree with deborah, with those measurements, late 70s to early 80s.

no, we don't have this label on the resource. you're right to pay attention to the font, but other elements trump it for dating. another point, if this were a 50s piece, and no doubt 60s too, the label wouldn't be machine stitched like this, it'd be tacked on the four corners.

Thank you and why I asked. Just did not seem 50s to me. I am going with late 1970s and early 1980s.
I appreciate all the help and will note it.
