1960's ? asian jacket

hi folks,

i've got this beautiful asian style jacket. i'm trying to determine the age.
maybe 1950's, 1960's ?

mandarin collar, button front, the right side has 2 patch/slip pockets, fully lined
slightly quilted fabric in an asian design with gold highlights
the sleeve cuffs are turned up for the photo
there are no tags. it's high-quality craftsmanship

any help would be appreciated !

It's a very unique and untradtional looking coat. The buttons are interesting as Asian jackets usually have frog closures. Are those little men standing in pairs wearing turbans?? That may be a clue to the jackets origin.

Hi Connie It's such a difficult one to date really but I'm getting more of a 70s vibe with your jacket. It's very beautiful indeed. I recall one of my art teachers at school wearing this style of jacket in the late 70s. She was very 'hip' and quite bohemian. I thought she was the most stylish dresser ever!

i will definitely try to get a close up of the stitching and print.
yes, it reminded me of a "craft" coat of some kind because of the 2 pockets side by side on the right front.
