1970s metallic knit??

Hey guys, found this cute dress. Am I right to think 70s? Its a knit fabric with metallic fibers woven in. Ykk back zipper, some of the seems are serged. Knit string belt woven through the knitted dress. The sleeves have elastic at the wrists. No shoulder pads. Where would a dress like this have been worn? Thanks!

What perplexes me if this is that the tag says 5/6 unless its super tiny. I seem to remember size 8/10 in the 70s being around a modern 2 or 4, but i could be off/foggy - just going by what I have purchased in the past. Obviously, there is never a direct correlation between vintage and modern because the waist/hips, etc, proportions changed all the time depending on the decade. Maybe its just an anamoly, though....

It's pretty small, its on my size zero dress form.
