1970s or 1980s ? Hudsons Bay Coat

Hi everyone, Is there any way of determining if this is from the 1970s or 1980s...the union label puts it 1968-1984....

The hood is a very 70s feature - more in keeping with the Capote style. I have an HBC coat from 1982 and it is cut differently from this - I think yours is early 70s.

Thanks Jonathan....you almost get the feeling the hood is decorative.....doesn't really 'fit' a normal head, it perches precariously.
