Yep, I'd call that early to mid '80s.
I'm intrigued by this idea that any more recent and it's not vintage: as much as I wish we could agree on this, there are so many different ideas of what constitutes "vintage"!
I cut off at '65, or '77 if you must but today I read a catalogue for vintage couture and they had several "vintage" garments from way back in 2008! Where will it end? Is last season vintage yet?

it's ok lol! I have a very hard time thinking of the 1980s as vintage, a VERY hard time...but as Etsy term anything 20 years or older as vintage, then that's my time line.......

And yes, at certain high-end designer boutiques here in town, the understand the word vintage as being last year. Ugh. Funny that you mention 1977, Nicole - most Barbie doll collectors cut off there too when the questions comes where the term vintage ends...
