What started as a quest for a sole, local vintage retailer has now become
Hamilton’s first annual vintage lifestyle show! Produced by two Hamiltonians,
The Vintage Marketplace is a 2-day shopping event, celebrating vintage and
vintage inspired products and services. It will have everything from clothing
and furniture, to jewellery and collectables. And much more in between!
On April 13th and 14th, attendees will be treated to the unique offering of
a hybrid show, with 40+ Vendors coming from all over Southern Ontario.
There will be something for everyone, as local sights, sounds and tastes of
Hamilton businesses are also featured.
There will also be a DJ to spin vinyl records of days past. And, local vintage
car enthusiasts will bring their cars for display.
With vintage-styled weddings growing in popularity, a Wedding Inspiration
section of Vendors will be featured for Brides in the midst of planning.
The Vintage Marketplace celebrates community!
Proceeds from the entrance fee and a Charity Silent Auction
will go directly to GenNext United Way in support of the United
Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton.
“We created this event to celebrate the vibrant community we are part of,
but also to give back to our neighbours,”
says Andreana Hudson, Partner of The Vintage Marketplace.
The show runs Saturday, April 13th and Sunday, April 14th. VIP Shopping
Hour is 10am to 11am each day, giving attendees first pick for a $10
entrance fee.
Regular Shopping Hours are 11am to 5pm each day, with a $5 entrance fee.
Those who would like to attend can purchase tickets ahead of time at the
Green Smooth Bar (236 James Street North) or at the door at the event.
