2 Black Rayon Crepe Dresses 40\'s??
1st Dress: This Dress is Black Rayon Crepe, interesting twist neckline collar with Rhinestone bauble. The Waist is ruched, the sleeves have no shoulder pads but drape and stand up, 2 peplum layers and a back long metal zipper. Label Frances Frocks Original. I guessing late 30's early 40's. length is 49 inches What do you think?
2nd Dress: This Dress is also Black Rayon Crepe, Jet Black beaded bodice, asymmetrical layer below the waist front, matching belt, side zipper and upper short 5" back zipper. Length is 45 inches.
Both these dresses belonged to my late grandmother and my mom thinks they were 40's, she is pretty stubborn that they are not from the 50's. But I want your expert opinions.
