2 more jackets...dating help...

i hope these pics post properly!!!

the first jacket I need dating help with is by jil sander... it's 100% wool..the tag matches the one dated from the 90s in the labels thread.... I was thinking 80's because of the dramatic shoulder pads- any other suggestions???

... the second is a wool brocade with a label ' paris-elysees'... the shape makes me think late 40's, early 50's... what do you guys think?

oh dear i did it wrong again!!

i copy the web address of my pic and paste it into the pop-up for "insert image" when I am creating a new topic...what am i doing wrong??

Here's one!

I copied and pasted your HTML, and had the same results, at first. Then I took out

?action=view&current=

so it was just the address of the image. I think that bit behind the question mark is some sort of command, which mucked up the HTML.

The jacket looks great so far! :cool2:

I think you are right with your dates on the Jil Sander. I would have killed for that in the 80s.

The second jacket I would say early - mid 1950s, even 1956.
