20s dress?

Hello!
I have this beautiful sequined dress. Basic dress is silk netting covered all over with sequins.
I think it is a 20s dress but I want to be sure.

I can't tell.

That bold X motif doesn't look like any 20s dress I have seen.

The way the sequins are sewn on makes me think much later. I just checked 2 early 20s sequin dresses I have and the techinque is completely different.

Any labels at all? If it's a Made in India, the answer is 80s - 90s.

Are the seams handsewn?

It hasn't a label. All the seams are handsewn. The X motif confuses me too. Thank you for your help.

i agree with hollis, the way the sequins are sewn look to be modern.

Looks newer to me, too but very beautiful. That fringed hem is fantastic. Maybe put flapper style.

Unfortunately the romanian language is very "poor" in words that describe vintage clothing. I wish we have more expresions like the expresions that you used!

My first thought was 80's does 20's, too.

For simpler words, just make sure "sequined silver party dress" is in your title.
