24k Gold Blouse?

My mother bought this blouse in a thrift shop in the 70's and all of us have worn and loved it, but then it was buried in the closet and forgotten until now. We were wondering if it really was made with 24k gold as the label says and how old it is. Have been doing a lot of internet searching and come up empty handed on anything similar in style or label. Any thoughts?

I haven't heard of this before in modern clothing (some historical clothing has gold material) but my feeling is that if it had that level of gold it in, you wouldn't be able to wash it without damage.

It has only ever been hand washed and covered while stored. One of the other very interesting features are the buttons! We always took care because we never wanted to lose one.

I wonder if the button mounts could be gold? though they don't look bright enough from here. that or it's a range name perhaps?

I have a very vague memory of gold in garments teasing the back of my brain. My first thought is that they used a few strands of actual gold to wrap the base threads in the weave rather than Lurex?

The button mounts could be tested - you can start with a magnet and if it attracts, it's not gold.
