Really, three cheers for everyone who has contributed (or will contribute) to the Label Resource. Every time I consult it - or, even better, am directed to it by a link from Google - it's bigger and better, with info that's very hard to find anywhere else.
A case in point - I have this dress labeled Robert Dorland London ~

I didn't have much hope of discovering anything about it. I Googled the name. The 3rd result - the only result concerning designer, as far as I could tell - was a link to Senti's bio of Diana Warren, a shop in Blackpool (believe it or not, I've been to Blackpool!) - Robert Dorland's designs were sold there -
Could've knocked me over with a feather!
I was reminded again of how justifyably proud we should be of this massive group effort. And what an incredible job Lizzie has done and continues to do as Our Lady of the Labels.

Robert Dorland - a London based designer of the 50s and 60s who made elegant bright and colourful daywear and sophisticated highly detailed eveningwear. Robert Dorland had his own label too.
Could've knocked me over with a feather!
