3 piece womans suit - is this early 60s and can I rightly refer to it as \"Jackie\"?

It is a burnt orange and is a wool blend of some sort, three piece, top unzips completely in back with a metal zipper, skirt has a back metal zipper, short boxy jacket - by Jack Feit. I just want to make sure I am not off if I refer to it as a Jackie era suit in my description.

It looks early 60s to me and definitely Jackie. I would wear it to work, luncheons, church, dinner...you name it. It is very versatile. Love the color!

You might point out the sleeveless blouse--very Jackie. A blouse without the pretense of cuffs on the jacket. JK made the sleeveless look fashionable. Claire

The skirt length looks more late 50s to me, however, these suits were usually shortened and worn into the mid 60s.

That was what I was wondering about - the length of the skirt. The top of the suit says 60s but why is it so long?

I think the skirt is around the wrong way: try turning it around a little so it sits flat at the front.

I had an outfit very much like that in the early 60's in green. I remember wearing it when traveling. Those were the days you dressed up (or at least I did) to get on an airplane. (You don't want to see me now at the airport!)

the skirt is on wrong!! I kept looking and looking and then I realized that the zipper is supposed to be on the side... I have to retake all the pics!!
