Hi! I would like another opinion on this dress I recently found. It is a cotton and at first I thought it was homemade due to the way the back zipper was put in. It has a "serval" metal zipper. And now I am wondering if the zipper was replaced in it. The simple narrow belt has silver metal gripper snaps on it. I cannot tell if it has been shortened but it has a 6" hem, finished with hemtape. The design of the print material seems to say 30s or 40s to me. The straps are made of a finely textured cotton like a pique, but the pattern is tiny diamonds. No labels to be found anywhere. Thanks in advance for your excellent detective work!!
