30\'s or 40\'s silk suit ??

Another birthday find. The skirt is small, but the jacket is about a 36 or 38" bust.
any help would be great.

That's a lovely shade Adrianne. I would go with mid 60s on this (but I may be wrong)

I think Sue has it - that boxy jacket with the longer length skirt - maybe early to mid 60s. Very classy and understated for the time. Nice find Adrianne.
