40\'s? evening bag

Help needed with dating this bag.....i'm thinking it 40's by the shape of it and the rhinestone??.... clasp which you lift to open as i've said before my camera is not that good not sure how well its picked it up in the pictures but it has a british made label, when did they stop using them cant seem to find anything on the internet....any help would be appreciated

This is a hard one because (I hope you don't mind me saying this) the photos aren't good. Do you have a clear shot of the label, the rhinestone and the clasp please?

good god no dont mind at all fully aware that my camera not up to scratch i have another one that i have lent someone need to get it back!!!.....I will try again today to get better pictures of the clasp
