40s gown, DCSB Original Design...anyone know this?

Does anyone know anything about DCSB Original Design? I can find some other examples of their dresses/gowns but not any info on the designer/manufacturer. (I'm always curious!) The gown had two KOH-I-NOOR Kover-Zips, a short center back one at the neck, and a longer one on the side.

This gown is in unbelievably wonderful condition but the skirt portion (taffeta??) is so wrinkled. Can it be steamed?

Thanks so much!
~Donna

Gorgeous - wonder if it's been laundered? That can really crush taffeta. You could try pressing or steaming it, but I would send to the dry cleaner as they seem to get a much better result than I can.

I don't *think* it's been laundered... the taffeta is still crisp. It's more like it's wrinkled from storage.

Thank you, both!
