40\'s Seersucker Blouse question

I have never seen seersucker in anything other than cotton...okay...I must lead a very sheltered life!! ;)

Is this still called seersucker? It is a crepey texture fabric with rayon insert. Also, could you please confirm 1940's.

looks 40s to me Bonnie - how about seersucker (or just
pucker) textured rayon crepe?

I love yellow and black together - very striking.

It almost looks like it's been through a smocking machine making tiny pleats.

seersucker is big now, saw a page about it in May Lucky mag use it on your title
