Hi there, that Penney's label with the P being the same size as the other block letters dates from 1946 to 1957. The Towncraft label itself established in 1927 but your socks are older. Therefore I think somewhere in between 1946 to 57. Someone with more knowledge of argyle socks will step in and narrow the date down for you I hope!
