No labels and no top either! the skirt is lined but a vest was worn for these shots, is this normal or is it missing a complete slip to go under that too?
It's a fair bit larger than me but I say wiggle because the hips didn't leave much room but the top had acres measurements are 38" Bust 30" waist 38" hip and it's 46" long with 17" (these are presumably more in proportion for the larger lady - the length wasn't right on me)
I'd love to hear your opinions on what's going on here! If more closeup shots are needed I'll get them.

It looks perfect with the black slip underneath, however I'm not sure if it would have originally come with one or if you were expected to buy separately.

Thanks Angela, would you agree with 50's? I think the zip is a coil one but I've forgotten to take pictures, it does also have a seperate hook and eye waistband inside.

No problem! If it's a coil zipper I would say later than 50's....probably 60's....do you have any pics of the inside waistband or hem?

I think it probably had a lining to the bodice, that has been removed at some point: if you look at the waistband you should be able to see remnants.

I would date this as early to mid '60s.
