50s Mexican skirts

Hi Ladies,

I recently discovered some vintage Mexican skirts online which are just beautiful, and would love to add one or two to my closet. However I noticed that probably not all the skirts which are listed as "50s hand painted Mexican skirt" are from the 50s or hand painted. Is there a way to determine the decade and if the skirt is painted or printed only based on photos?

Sure is... are there labels? Do you have pictures of the seam, fastening etc.?

Yes, there is one which says Pintado A Mano, Orugullo de Mexico for Mex-Art, one says Maya de Mexico, and one says Pintado A Mano Lavable Hand Painted Washable Hecho En Mexico.
Most of them have: Waistband, hooks, and metal zipper.
I can ask for photos of the seam and fastening.

The Maya de Mexico one says it has side hidden pockets.
