60s/70s Caftcan - Title ideas - anyone?

Hi,

I'm having trouble coming up with a good title for this. It is a hand painted hot pink caftcan from Greece by Pepi. Most likely late 60s, early 70s. I've seen other hand painted dresses from the 60s by Pepi, but not in this style. There is a wide sash belt that goes with it. Would this be considered ethnic, hippy or...?

You're suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

hmmmm....
I always think of muted colors with ethnic items, which this definitely isn't :)
It does have an ethnic look though doesn't it.
The vivid pink looks great on the black background.

What about the beatles Sgt. Pepper era.... when everyone wore the tunics and bright colors....?
 
I also think you've got the hippie/psychedelic thing going on with this, which fits in with the Sgt Pepper theme. And the ethnic tie-in is not out of whack, either, as that whole Sgt Pepper/Beatles thing was inspired in part by their spiritual experience in India. So, if you wanted to cram it all in in the title, I don't see why not!!! "Vintage 60s/70s Handpainted Sgt Pepper Hippie Ethnic Caftan...." Normally I don't go in for jamming the title with such a batch of KW, but when they fit, they fit!

Oh, and I love the color, too!
 
Thanks, Anne!!! So helpful, as always. I like the colour, too. I'm afraid I was so brain dead, I just threw the towel in earlier and made invitations with my future daughter-in-law instead. Listings will have to wait a few more days. But at least when I get back to them - I HAVE A TITLE!! Perhaps listings should have credits - Titles by: Lynn and Anne; Moral support by: VFG at large
