60s 70s gauze dress from India?

This is my first time dealing with this type of gauze dress/gown. Was hoping someone could help with a few questions.
There is no label inside this dress so was wondering if it could be listed as "probably from India"?
Also do you recognize any defining features that would place this dress in the 1960s or 1970s?
The hem is asymmetrical, there is a single center front pleat and dress ties in back. Neck piece has hook and eye closure Bodice is fully decorated with machine embroidery, beads and mirrors and the skirt has an underskirt.

I was going to say I've only seen that particular style of lace up back on 90's onwards evening dresses, often bare back too - I have one from 2007.

agree, early 1990s at it's oldest...or yesterday. saw some nearly exactly the same at a huge flea market in FL in February...
