60s Double Strand Beaded Necklaces Redux

We had a thread awhile ago on the cool double-strand beaded necklaces we loved from the 60s. I mentioned my Coro one that I wear all the time... Beads are metal, with a striated pattern. I think it's rather unusual--I've never seen one quite like it, nor have I seen any other Coro pieces like this. I get loads of compliments on it every time I wear it. It's my "go to" neckpiece; goes with anything and everything!

And would love to see other examples of multi-strand beaded necklaces--not just double ones. I'm always amazed at some of the layer on layer of beaded circles I see on some of these!

Those are gorgeous!

Here's one I'm wearing next weekend to a wedding~ Only worth mentioning since I NEVER wear much jewelry here in the corn belt!

I really like the caps alternating on the ends of the beads.

The photo doesn't do it justice though - the creamy colors are much more rich in person~

These two came into my store this week.
Not sure if I'll get a change to list them, as multi-strands usually sell quickly!

I forgot to add, that Coro gold necklace looks very much like a Napier rope I have - it's also textured gold metal, but it's one very long rope of beads that could be wrapped many times.

This is one of my favorites, and its even more special because it was a gift from a dear friend:

Faux bamboo and jade set, marked "Hong Kong".

I sold this some time ago but it's probably the best multi-strand necklace I've had. I have a number of crystal ones available now - some not listed.

Oh, I'm lusting over everyone's necklaces, and am so motivated to drag out my large stock of them and start shooting & listing. I have some 3 & 4 strand ones in pink & red, blue & cream, etc. Some listed already on my Ruby Lane site, but so many more just sitting around in my inventory.

Here's one of my favorites that's listed at vintagebaubles.com--I love the peachy color and the variety of beads:

Glad to see I am not the only one that admires these. I have always loved the look.
Linn, your beads look like cloisonne. Beautiful necklace.

That was a very pretty necklace! It was made up of faux pearls, crystals, and Venetian beads - some Murano and some that are often called "Wedding Cake".

I have very few multi-strand pieces in my personal collection. I just came across this photo of an Art Deco multi-strand piece accented with rhinestone rhondelles:

It's one of my favorites - although not one I get to wear a lot.
It's C. 1930's.

Ooh, such nice eye candy in this thread!

I love 50s/60s multistrands--the glass ones are so elegant (and the "hefty" feel of them is so satisfying), and even the plastic ones have great colors and textures and are often very well made...

Linn, your Art Deco necklace made me think of this necklace, which I regretted parting with the moment it sold:

These next 2 are my current faves, with glass, AB crystals, and other good stuff:

Love this thread Anne! What a great idea.
My two favorite double strands and my favorite multi. All are glass and still in my collection. I don't think I could part with them!

Carrie, that pink and blue one is WOWZA!

Carrie -

I "think" I remember your Deco necklace. I haven't sold very much that I truly regret - but your (former) necklace would be in that category!!!

Wow--such wonderful stuff! Carrie, your deco beads were fab--shoulda kept 'em....

I have so many favorites, but here are pro'lly my faves, aside from the peach ones, that I have for sale now, 'specially the green ones, a mix of art glass and faux pearls...
