60s dress need help w/id

Lovin this dress. It is heavy wool crepe (I have a 60s geoffrey beene in the same textile) lined in silk. The zipper (nylon) is hand set. Starting @ the yoke are strips that go to the hem and up to about the top of leg or hip area. They are attached to the fitted under-layer straight sheath. The length is mini. It reminds me of the paper lanterns I made as a kid. There is no lable...I feel as though i have seen this dress before. I have googled everything I can think of: Rudi, Quant, Rabanne, Cardin, lantern dress, origami and so on. Any ideas???

No help on IDing your amazing dress either, just wanted to say that your KW (ie cage, origami, lantern) are all excellent descriptors...
