Hey! I found another Mardi Gras dress!!!!! Yaaaaaay!! Does anyone know what this fabric is? I thought it was brocade? But when I look at the fabric resource I'm not sure anymore? Also in the back of the dress there is the blouson type layer where it spits where the zipper is...what is that called?Any comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The metallic threads are lame threads but it looks like a matelassé weave as well, so how 'bout metallic matelassé? I call these bodices "blouson" tops.
